 If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for ANYTHING. It's so hard for me to see people, even my own friends give into peer pressure. I hate it when i see people who change literally EVERYTHING about them, even their standards, just to fit in. I wish everyone had an eternal perspective on life and realize that what really matters in life has nothing to do with being "popular", or hanging out with the "cool" kids. John Bytheway once said..." Popularity ends on yearbook day, respect lasts forever." After high school, i'm not going to remember the two-faced kids who thought they were popular, and who were jerks to everyone. I'm going to remember the those i respected. I respect those who are nice to everyone they see, no matter who they are. I respect those who don't care what others think. I respect those who stand for what's right, even if they stand alone.
