"There's no such thing as people changing... you only get to know them better." - AnonymousChange can be a good thing. But it can also be bad. I'm personally not a huge fan of change, but it depends what kind of change it is. Seeing people i love change is one of the changes i hate most. I've never thought of people changing in the way this quote describes it. How they really don't change, you just find out more stuff about them that you didn't know before. You think you know someone, but really they just haven't told you the whole truth about them. That's the heart breaker right there. Lies. It's hard for me to comprehend how fast people, friends, relationships, and anything can change. But, i always have to remember that people come into our lives for a reason. Maybe there are times in your life you need certain people, and times in your life you don't need them. Some people come into our lives as blessings, other as lessons. Think of change as a positive thing. A time to grow, and learn from every experience in your life.
Words are SO powerful. They can change lives, hurt people, and even bring hope to some. They are JUST words.. but why are they so powerful?

Quote #7 [No Regrets]
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones that you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark TwainYou only get to live once. Why not try new things? I think we're afraid to get out of our comfort zone of trying new things because we're scared of the outcome. Well do you want an outcome of regret? Don't live your life in i "woulda, coulda, shoulda" done this, or that. If it feels right, just try it. And don't limit yourself to what you think you can or can't do. You can do whatever you set your mind to. That is, if you believe in yourself. Live your life with no regrets, and never give up!

Quote #6 [the temple]
"If this isn't your castle.. than you're not my prince."
I'm getting married in the temple someday. I will not let ANYTHING get in the way of it. It has always been a goal in my life. I've seen people in my life who weren't married in the temple, and i just couldn't live that way. I want to be sealed to my family for all time and eternity! I love the quote by Thomas S. Monson that says "Always keep the temple in your sight." I think it's important to keep the temple in our sight so that whenever we are tempted to do anything that would keep us from going to the temple, it will be easier to resist. I love to see the temple.. i'm going there someday!

Quote #5 [Friends]
"It's just something that happens as you grow up. You realize it's less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones." -Laguna BeachI don't know about you, but I would SO much rather have one true friend then one hundred fake friends. This is something I have been able to learn for myself and see..especially in high school. I see people, even friends who change their group of friends just to fit in, but they don't look happy at all. It's always a fake smile i see. So, how do you know who your true friends are? I've learned that true friends aren't the ones who've been with you the longest, but who have been there for you the MOST, and the ones who are there with you through the hard times. To all my true friends in my life... thank you. Thank you for showing me what a real friend is! :)

Quote #4 [uncertainty]
"Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing what to do is the worst kind of suffering."Uncertainty: the silent killer. Uncertainty brings concern and paranoia. Most people will fear the worst when they don't know the truth. And that fear turns into stress; and stress= less success. It's hard to take the next step when you don't even know what to do, what you did wrong, or even what to say? I don't know what you do to fix this, but I guess you just can't let it bother you too much or you won't be able to focus on what's important.

Quote #3 [Stand]
"Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of. You might bend till you break, cause it's all you can take. On your knees you look up decide you've had enough. You get mad, you get strong, wipe your hands shake it off. Then you stand."-Rascal Flatts
Life will get hard. Life DOES get hard. What will you do when it does? Sit down and cry? Complain cause you just can't take it anymore? That's what someone without courage does. Why not just STAND. Stand, and keep your head held high. There's always someone who has it worse than you. Be grateful for the hard times, so that you can cherish the great times! One of my favorite quotes is..."Good things fall apart so better things can fall together." ['Every time you get up, and get back in the race one more small piece of you starts to fall into place.']

Quote #2 [CTR]
"You be the one to stand for right, even if you have to stand alone."
-Gordon B. HinckleyIf you don't stand for something, you'll fall for ANYTHING. It's so hard for me to see people, even my own friends give into peer pressure. I hate it when i see people who change literally EVERYTHING about them, even their standards, just to fit in. I wish everyone had an eternal perspective on life and realize that what really matters in life has nothing to do with being "popular", or hanging out with the "cool" kids. John Bytheway once said..." Popularity ends on yearbook day, respect lasts forever." After high school, i'm not going to remember the two-faced kids who thought they were popular, and who were jerks to everyone. I'm going to remember the those i respected. I respect those who are nice to everyone they see, no matter who they are. I respect those who don't care what others think. I respect those who stand for what's right, even if they stand alone.

Quote #1 [Attitude]
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
-Charles R. SwindollI think life is what you make it. You can't change a bad situation, but you can change how you look at it. Just because you have a positive attitude, it won't take away your trials. But having a positive outlook on life WILL make the trials EASIER. One of my favorite quotes is "I don't need easy, just POSSIBLE." -Soul
