Change can be a good thing. But it can also be bad. I'm personally not a huge fan of change, but it depends what kind of change it is. Seeing people i love change is one of the changes i hate most. I've never thought of people changing in the way this quote describes it. How they really don't change, you just find out more stuff about them that you didn't know before. You think you know someone, but really they just haven't told you the whole truth about them. That's the heart breaker right there. Lies. It's hard for me to comprehend how fast people, friends, relationships, and anything can change. But, i always have to remember that people come into our lives for a reason. Maybe there are times in your life you need certain people, and times in your life you don't need them. Some people come into our lives as blessings, other as lessons. I've learned that true friends aren't the ones who've been with you the longest, but who have been there for you the MOST, and the ones who are there with you through the hard times.  If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for ANYTHING. It's so hard for me to see people, even my own friends give into peer pressure. I hate it when i see people who change literally EVERYTHING about them, even their standards, just to fit in. I wish everyone had an eternal perspective on life and realize that what really matters in life has nothing to do with being "popular", or hanging out with the "cool" kids. John Bytheway once said..." Popularity ends on yearbook day, respect lasts forever." After high school, i'm not going to remember the two-faced kids who thought they were popular, and who were jerks to everyone. I'm going to remember the those i respected. I respect those who are nice to everyone they see, no matter who they are. I respect those who don't care what others think. I respect those who stand for what's right, even if they stand alone.

I think life is what you make it. You can't change a bad situation, but you can change how you look at it. Just because you have a positive attitude, it won't take away your trials. But having a positive outlook on life WILL make the trials EASIER. One of my favorite quotes is "I don't need easy, just POSSIBLE." -Soul
